Fishing Report from TPWD (Sep. 28)

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 85 degrees; 2.22 feet low. Bass are good in 15 feet of water on humps with deep diving crankbaits. Crappie are in brush piles in 17-18 feet of water and under the 155 Bridge and Flat Creek Bridge using jigs or very small minnows. Catfish are good on the edge of the river with punch bait, cheese bait and nightcrawlers. White bass are slow, but should pick up after the cold weather settles in.
