Fishing Lake Palestine in November and December

Bass will be good on your points using Carolina rigs and my world famous Shimmy Shakers and Texas Rigs.
Fish Carolina rigs on the points and fish your Texas rigs under docks.
Crappie will be good under the 155 bridge on both jigs and minnows.
Crappie will also be very good along the river using live scope and jigs.
White bass can be found on the 155 bridges.
Catfish are good on baited holes along the river 14ft depth using night crawlers.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Mar. 12)

SLOW. Water slightly stained; 60 degrees; 0.55 feet above pool. Bass and crappie should move off the bank to staging areas post frontal pattern. Crappie may be caught in 8-16 feet of water. Bass can be caught on soft plastics. White bass are running in the river hitting 2 inch grubs on an ⅛ ounce jig head or underspins.
